Brian is 4.12kg now and it’s getting a bit straining to carry him in my arms now. Babies in the first 3 months tend to be very troublesome. Just as his nose is getting much better, he has begun to have some colic. He has kept us (me, hubby and in-laws) awake for 3 straight nights, and if we did not do ‘night shifts’ on alternate days, we would have become zombies. Because of this, my acne starts to break out again. Time to start some treatment for acne by doing facial and masks.
His stomach wind pain usually starts after 1pm and on worst days, it will last till the next morning. This kept him cranky the whole day. I miss those rare days where he is cheerful enough for playtime. He only sleep for 15 minutes each time before waking up and start his crying spells. The only peaceful time is when he is drinking his milk. The PD advises us to burp him after his feeds. Brian is a poor burper and most of the time, it took us an hour to burp out his wind >_<
The next big thing for him is to get vaccinated from next month. Poor baby, he has to take a total of 14 vaccines for the next year or so. It’s pretty scary at the number of vaccinations he is getting compare to us when we were young.

try giving him gripe water?
btw, costs for vaccinations can be paid thru CDA (which the govt pegs $ for $ match).. so effectively, the govt is footing 50% of the bill. U just have to make sure that the clinic is authorizef for CDA payments. This CDA $$ can also be used for brian’s hospital plan coverage, or infantcare/childcare etc.
hi, yes did give him gripe water. This is a difficult baby! my MIL is starting to grumble too, haha
