Bowling is also a good form of exercise

It’s been years since i last bowled. During our staff retreat yesterday, we had two rounds of bowling.

I vaguely remembered my first bowling experience during my JC days. I struck a perfect strike on my virgin attempt and subsequently i am highly skilled at cleaning the drains for my team.

Yesterday, during the first round, once again, i started off by clearing and cleaning the drains for the team. It took me one complete round of the first game to fully ‘warmed’ up my muscles. I struck two goals in series in the second game :D

It was once mentioned to me that bowling is also a form of good exercise. I’ve never actually believed it till after the 2 rounds of the game yesterday. This morning, upon waking up, i could feel the ache from the middle of the arm all the way to the finger tips.. i didn’t even have the strength to grasp my toothbrush properly. Besides the muscles in the arm, my right leg muscles do show signs of aching. Must be the number of times i spent bending down while rolling the ball forward, and also the number of times i ‘jumped’ when myself or colleagues got a strike.

Wow, i think it’s a great exercise after all, for the mind as well as for every part of the body.
