D’Light Spa and Nails
My close buddy had a good pedicure session at D’Light Nails sometime back. Now she is aiming to try out their spa and massages services. Due to the encouragement of this buddy, I’ve decided to drop by D’Light Spa’s. She has opted for the Revitalizing Ritual massage. I had a ‘bad’ massage (not that bad, it’s just that i am sensitive to pain!!) experience in China sometime back, so i decided to go for the Beautiful Back Facial instead. These two items are under June’s promotions so we only pay $58 each.
I’ve never done facial in my life especially for my back. I usually do my own facial regime at home, but it’s for the face rather than the back.
The back is notoriously hard to reach and you need someone else to tell you that you actually have some whiteheads or even small pimples on the back. Through years of perspiration and sebum accumulation, pimples and whiteheads started to manifest at the bare areas of the back. The beautician is a nice and patient lady and she started off by analyzing the skin of my back. She told me i am some scratch scars and some acnes. Argh… blame me on my scratchings after exercise. She also say my skin is sensitive and tends to get itchy easily. How true….
The treatment i got for my back is rather basic, almost similar to those described on the web. It starts with some heat steaming, which has the purpose of opening up the pores and softening the back skin. This is followed by an exfoliating scrub to remove the dead skin and extractions of white and black heads. This is painful and i am glad i am facing down. She can’t see my wriggled face. 
The back is last covered with a rich moisturizing mask. The feeling is so shiok. The whole session lasted 60 mins. One thing i hate for lying down in a fix position is, my back aches like hell when i try to get up.
I will definitely go back to D’Light again.
