Herbal Shampoo & Green tea Body shampoo

I am a great fan of Melaleuca products, that’s why I am one of the preferred customers (PC) of the company. Attracted by the natural ingredients used in all the products, i’ve decided to convert most of my household products to those environmental friendly ones.

The two products as shown above are highly recommended and are loved by my friends who have used them before.

The bottle on the right is the Herbal Shampoo. It has a high concentration of pure Melaleuca Oil and it moisturizes dry brittle hair and itchy scalp.  The hair smells nice after washing too. I haven’t really tried this product but had been getting quite a few bottles for my friends and colleagues.

I am currently using the product on the right. It’s called the Green Tea Body Shampoo. As the name suggest, the main ingredient is green tea and Melaleuca oil. It makes my skin soft and nice to the touch. I will post more interesting products here for your reference. ;)

New Hair Cut for the new semester

Enough of Snip Avenue.

Today i tried cutting my grossly hay-wired hair at a new salon. I dare not try cutting a different style apart from mere trimming at Snip Avenue. The price they had offered is way too cheap for such a risk. [I am so ironical. *rolleyes*]

Well, you may also argue that trying out at a completely new salon will have an equal level of risk. Yes, i do agree.  Regardless of this, i still plucked up my little courage and stepped into the salon. I had no regrets since. The hairstylist was very detailed and he cut out the layered bob exactly the way i’ve wanted.

At least he uses the usual clips and pins. Unlike the hairstylist that trimmed my hair at Snip Avenue. She did it so quickly that my trimming was done in 5 minutes!! That shatters my confidence in Snip Avenue at that spur of moment. Not in my life i had a hair cut in such a short time. The trimming was okay since it’s nothing that obvious to the eyes. It sure makes my hair feels lighter. However, if they were going to use the same cutting style to cut a layered bob for me, oh gosh, i won’t even think towards that direction.

Here’s my new cut from SALON TERRY@Jalan Membina:

Opps, i cant swallow pills …

I have a little problem since young. I can’t swallow pills properly without it hitting the back of the throat. It is so bad to the point that i had to skip a day’s medication just to let my throat heal. That’s why i feared to be sick.. badly. I hate doctors who prescribed pills to me.

Recently, i bought a few bottles of vitamins - strongly encouraged by the doctor. Life is so miserable after that. Tried as i may, i can’t seem to stop time from ticking to the hour which i had to take the vitamin pills. Oh heaven, i need to take 10 of them each time, 3 freaking times a day! I spend nearly 10 full minutes to swallow the pills one by one.

Visually, they looked small and harmless enough to swallow; the pills are nothing as compared to the large amount of food which i always swallow during meal times. However, once i pop one into my mouth, my brain signals something else to my senses telling me that the pill is too HUGE to be swallowed. Aww….

I tried many ways to swallow the pills:

  • Chew them before swallowing. Oh yucks, they taste real bad. I feel like vomiting rather than swallowing after chewing them. And note that not all pills can be chewed.
  • Placing the pill nearer the back of my tongue and tilt head back to allow gravity to help. Doesn’t work. I wonder if my throat structure is the cause of it. This pill tends to hit my throat when swallowing the pill in this position.
  • Pour water into mouth first then place pill so that it floats. Doesn’t work, it still sank down to my tongue.
  • Watch cartoons and read online jokes to distract myself. Hmm… not really. I laugh until i forgot to swallow the pill but the water instead. Period.

Not all is lost though; sometime swallowing pills can be an ease. But that’s provided i managed to do the following right:

  • Relax myself and tell myself i can do it. Think some websites suggest this method as well.
  • Eat the pills with my favorite juice. Some pills cannot be mixed with juices or carbonated drink. But i think peach juice seemed harmless enough for me…
  • Place pill nearer the front of my tongue. Strangely enough, this works at times, though not all the time.

I hope time will fly and let me finish this course of vitamins soon…

My lazy exercise regime

Some people are always giving excuses when it comes to exercising, including myself:

“I feel tired after work”

“The gym is too far”

“I don’t have a fitness centre nearby”

“It’s…er… raining! So i cant exercise!”

For people like me; who simply cant bring my legs down to the nearest gym, who simply refuse to jog under the sun without an umbrella, who hates the idea of being stared at when exercising in public, have to resort to an alternative to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Who says one must get out of the house in order to keep fit? I had found my own way of exercising in the comfort of my home. After months of sourcing, i’ve managed to build the set of fitness cd collection!

See the huge variety of exercise programs in the collection? I can do belly-dancing whenever i like it, or hula my pounds away. My favorite series happens to be the “Walk Away Pounds”series. I walk through with the trainer at least once a week. It’s easy to do and it sure makes me get out of my comfy couch successfully.

Exercise is more convenient than you think it is. It’s best if you chose the exercise/activity you loved best.

Try getting one of the above and see the difference yourself.
