Getting sick

It all started with a mild sore throat last Friday morning. Thinking of not wasting another day of medical leave, i decided to pay a visit to the doctor on Saturday morning. I even requested for a pack of anti-biotics as a stand by for fear of the soreness getting worst on Sunday. Luckily, the sore throat did not get worst today.

Unluckily enough, while the sore throat is doing its diminishing act, the cough starts to act up this morning. I wonder why sore throat, cold and cough seems to come hand in hand. This time round, the cold have not found me just yet. Thank heaven for that.

My throat gets more irritated during class today and I ended up giving a short “lecture” to students. If it gets worst tomorrow, I am afraid i need to get another medical leave. Oh boy, I really hate to be sick especially now i cant self-medicate like i used to do. There are tons of work waiting for me to accomplish at work. Just like the saying goes- Too busy even to be sick.
