H1N1 fears

This is the first week of the other part of the semester after the 2-weeks of school holidays. I’ve gained 1 kg over the weeks, and now even the best fat burners are not going to help me. The next break will be about 10 weeks away.

When I entered the classroom last Monday, I was greeted by 10 students with bad cold (I hope it’s just cold). Due to the recent spread of H1N1 cases in Singapore as well as globally, it’s normal to be paranoid.

People sniffing and coughing in MRT trains attracts curious and suspicious eyes from the public. Sometime i seriously wonder why people are so irresponsible. Shouldn’t they wear a mask or just take MC and stay at home?

Today, 2 more new cases appear in Singapore. Both of the patients, knowing very well that they are feeling unwell, and they came back from the affected countries, still went ahead to go shopping and to see concert.

Do they do that intentionally or they simply acted blur at the expense of other people’s health? This I do not know. I just wish Singaporeans will be more responsible.
