Hari Raya Haji holiday

Yesterday was Hari Raya Holiday. Hubbie and I did stuffs which we rarely do on normal days.

1. We watched a movie. The last movie we had watched was Wolverine. (i think)

2. We ate KFC, black pepper chicken buddy meal. I can’t remember when I last ate this. Maybe last year?

Through several strong recommendations, we decided to watch 2012. We went not expecting a full house in the cinema at Toa Payoh, especially for a show that had been on the screens for more than a week. But, yesterday, it was indeed full house. The show did not disappoint me. In fact, the graphics and the sound system are pretty good. Something which you can’t experience if you watch it on a laptop.

The effects were pretty scary though. Buildings collapse, splitting of the earth’s surface in the form of weird earthquakes,  spring plungers spilling everywhere, tsunami flooded places everywhere, eruption of super volcanoes etc…

Natural disasters could actually bring out the worst or bring out the best of the people. Some are too selfish to admit that earth is doom and refuse to tell the world on what’s going on. They had planned to save only the talents of the world. They even built a big supership for these people. Commoners who want to board the ship have to pay a huge sum of money, which almost result in huge disappointment by a decision made by someone who only cares about his own ass.

And some are going way beyond their means to save as many people as possible.

Search your hearts now. If you were at the scene, what kind of person will you be? Will you save yourself first, then your fellow earthlings? Or will you save others first, then save yourself?

Truthfully speaking, if i were to be there at that time, i will save my love ones first then myself. I don’t see the point of living on if my friends and loved ones are dead. *sob*
