There are several ways to promote one’s blog. Especially if it’s new. I’ve started off with a few simple ways:
- Submit my blog link at some free directory submissions websites
- Participate in forums. If your blog is about your family, participate in family related forums
- Blog visiting. Don’t expect people to visit your blog if you don’t reciprocate their kind actions. Visit their blogs too and leave nice comments
- Join the Entrecard network. This is good for a start.
- Spread the love. I share my blog link to my close friends. I started this blog to share my life with them as not many of them are using Livejournal (my pioneer blog) and to save them the hassle of having to login in order to read my entries.
