As we grow older year after year, we find that it’s really hard to find a suitable time where everyone can meet up perfectly. It’s a tradition for the JC girls to meet up on special occasions every year, be it Chinese New Year, Christmas, birthdays etc and frankly speaking, I am quite looking forward to such events.
This year, we decided to meet up earlier for a simple Christmas lunch. Due to our different commitments, some of us are going on tours during the actual Christmas day; so meeting early is really a good choice.
We had our buffet lunch at Vivocity this time. I’ve never eaten at restaurants there before, so it sure is an eye-opener for me, especially this buffet.
Big Eye-opener: We are only given a time limit of 90 mins to eat the steamboat buffet, and each pax paid about $35. Because of the exorbitant price, Hubbie kept on ordering sashimi while my friends kept on ordering their famous beef. Heehee.
Overall, we had great fun there though from the way the tables are set up, we had difficulty talking to everyone.
